Due to ongoing growth, we are working on a retained basis, to look for a Senior Sterile Manufacturing Technician to join our client who are based in the Cambridge area.

This is a permanent position.

The main purpose of this role will be to be a part of the growing manufacturing team, supporting production delivery of GMP batches for clinical studies.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate an extensive understanding of GMP andhow this is used in pharmaceutical and bio-tech environments.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Be able to prepare and review essential GMP documentation including SOP's, cleaning procedures, environmental monitoring procedures and batch records
Work as part of a cross functional team involving working closely with QA and QC.
Work with the process development team to transfer manufacturing processes for stage one, two and three clinical trial supplies
Create and complete all required documentation
Ensure that the facility is working and adhering to GMP standards at all time
Understand GMP in relation to cleanliness and environmental standards
Manufacture batches for clinical trial supplies
Take part in investigations and trouble shooting
Support the Sterile Manufacturing Team Lead where needed

Any experience of using hardware such as isolators, washers or autoclaves would be beneficial but not essential.
