Inclusive Consulting is proud to be partnering with a leading global law firm in their search for a confident and ambitious Finance Business Partner to join their team based in Sheffield.


This permanent role would suit an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA-qualified finance professional with experience in a commercially focused/Finance Business Partnering role.

You will be working on a full-time basis with hybrid arrangements, to provide financial guidance and added value support to internal stakeholders, while also working with the other finance business partners to deliver a consistent approach.

There is an option to work out of the Leeds office, and both locations are City Centre based, with easy links to train stations and other public transport routes.

On offer is a £60k-£70k salary, plus benefits. The business supports hybrid working, with 50% home working offered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serving as the key financial interface between the international practice group management and the finance department.
  • Leading the delivery of the finance curriculum agenda.
  • Providing necessary financial support to ensure strategic business development, client retention and increased client profitability.
  • Work in conjunction with the credit control and local finance teams, to ensure visibility of any issues and assist in finding a resolution.
  • Ensure that team operates effectively as a single business partnering function across the firm delivering on key priorities within finance.
  • Manage the annual planning and budgeting process for the practice group.

Key Attributes

  • ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified
  • A high degree of commercial acumen and evidence of applied strategic thinking/planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Capable and confident in presenting to large audiences facetoface or via technology
  • The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Attention to detail as well as an ability to see the bigger picture, considering any crossbusiness implications
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
  • Great team working skills and a passion for delivering results
  • Ability to flex working style to collaborate across functions and geographies and adapt to change
