OVERALL SUMMARY


Reporting to the HRBP, the Associate HR Business Partner will support managers and employees by providing specialist policy and legislative HR advice as required.

The AHRBP will support the HRBP in providing generalist HR support to client groups in PremiumFinance and Property Finance


RESPONSIBILITIES


The Associate HR Business Partner will support the HR Business Partner in providing HR guidance and coaching to Line Managers and Employees.

The focus will be on delivering the following activities:


  • Provide support and assistance to HR Business Partner.
  • Provide professional HR advice and guidance in line with company policy and procedures to relevant client groups.
  • Escalate any sensitive issues to HR Business Partners as appropriate.
  • Manage ER issues as required; for example, conducting investigations and handling disciplinary and grievance hearings.
  • Support the HRBP in executing an effective Compensation review including managing the process and facilitating challenge meetings, if required.
  • Provide additional support throughout the recruitment process as required, including review of job descriptions, liaising with the recruitment team, managing the governance process and attending/conducting interviews as required.
  • Provide support and guidance to the HR Advisor as required.
  • Provide support for HR change activities and projects as required.
  • Regularly provide relevant and timely HR metrics and analyse and review these to identify any opportunities or issues and support the HR Business Partner in addressing any areas of concern.
  • Deliver training to managers and employees as required including Inductions, Employee Opinion Survey presentations and Performance Management and Unconscious Bias Training.
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
  • Contribute to the annual talent and succession process, supporting the HRBP, through facilitating challenge meetings, updating talent profiles and preparing packs identifying key themes.
  • Contribute to the annual compensation review process, supporting the HRBP, through facilitating challenge meetings, updating the compensation system and preparing submissions for challenge.

  • Experience working in a fast-moving HR environment
  • Strong knowledge of HR practice and employment law
  • Demonstrable experience of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Willingness to challenge
  • Resilience and evidence of coping with change
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:

  • Experience of working within Financial Services would be beneficial
  • HR experience, and CPP / CIPD qualification or equivalent
