We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects.If you possess the required qualifications, competencies, and a passion for excellence in construction management, we want to hear from you.
Key Competencies and Qualifications:
- SMSTS essential
- EUSR Card water hygiene desirable
- Temp Works Supervisor desirable
- Experience in Shafts/Deep Drainage projects essential
- Good IT skills, including the use of tablets for stats/drawings review essential
- Good knowledge of HSG4 essential
- Ability to manage and maintain a site pack essential
- Proficient in managing street works, excavations, and backfilling in the highway essential
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with site crews, including conducting weekly toolbox talks essential
- Ability to liaise with clients and local authorities essential
- Collaborate with relevant departments, such as the SHEQ team essential
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Manage and maintain a site pack, including relevant documentation, permits, and reports.
- Effectively communicate with site crews, providing clear instructions and conducting regular toolbox talks to promote safety and productivity.
- Collaborate with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project coordination and compliance with regulations.
- Liaise with the SHEQ team to implement and maintain safety, health, environmental, and quality protocols on site.
- Monitor and inspect construction works, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from plans.
- Coordinate street works, excavations, and backfilling in the highway, ensuring mínimal disruption to traffic and adherence to regulations.
- Utilize IT skills to review and analyze project statistics, drawings, and documentation.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the construction team, resolving any technical challenges that arise.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor, preferably with a focus on Shafts/Deep Drainage projects.
- Hold a valid SMSTS certification.
- Possess an EUSR Card for water hygiene (desirable).
- Familiarity with Temp Works Supervisor responsibilities (desirable).
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in using tablets for stats and drawings review.
- Indepth knowledge of HSG47 and other relevant construction regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- A proactive and problemsolving mindset.

As a Temporary Works Coordinator for J Browne Group, you will be responsible for requesting, reviewing, and installing temporary works designs.
You will ensure that the quality of the installation and construction of works is top-notch and prepare, maintain, and collate final documentation for each project for our Company's records and/or submission to our clients.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing project requirements and producing Temporary Works Design briefs
- Conducting technical and buildability reviews of Temporary Works Designs
- Ensuring quality control of Temporary Works installation and required modifications, including production of design registers and required permits
- Producing and maintaining Inspection Test Plans
- Setting out and dimensional control of the works
- Producing accurate 'asbuilt' drawings of the constructed works
- Recording data and maintaining site records
- Being conversant and up to date with relevant legislation on construction issues
