Position:
Cable / PCB Assembler

Date Rate:
£ £14.20 per hour

Location:
Loughborough

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Proactive are currently recruiting for a skilled Cable / PCB Assembler in Loughborough to start work immediately.

This is an exciting opportunity position working for a market leader in the design and manufacture of high performance electronic components.

You will be working as part of a wider team delivering projects to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities

Follow Customer electrical diagrams/schematics for correct installation of components.
Completing all required documentation as required, including paperwork and information recorded on computers.
Wiring harness and looms, using the following techniques:
Soldering
Wire/cable termination
Wire preparation
Freehand wiring
Construction of mechanical assemblies/box builds including:
Identification for correct tooling
Identification of build issues
First line engineering support

Skills

Ability to work as a team and Independently
Great attention to detail
Experience in assembly of electronics PCBs and subassemblies
Ability to understand drawings
Knowledge of cable assembly including, crimping and soldering of wire/connectors
