Search, Hire, Hurrah are delighted to be working with a fantastic Sheffield based client, supporting them with the recruitment for their permanent and full time position of Head of Operations.

Our client is an established SME with a global customer base and supply chain, and they are gearing up for an exciting new growth phase.
As their Head of Operations, you will play a key role in leading this journey, working closely alongside their recently recruited Head of Marketing.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role
- Interest in motor vehicle engines
- Proven experience in suggesting and implementing business improvements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT skills
- Working knowledge of budgeting, cash forecasting, and balance sheet
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and embrace change
- Organized and methodical with excellent workload and priority management skills
- Flexibility to support the business during busy periods with extra hours and/or additional duties
- Proactive with the ability and confidence to use initiative
- A leader who inspires others towards our shared vision
Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the resourcing and development of the wider operations team
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing to drive sustainable, organic growth while maintaining a healthy gross profit margin
- Drive improvements across all areas of the company's supply chain, improving accuracy and speed of delivery, and reducing wastage and costs through better processes and automation
- Expand our global network of customers by improving our international supply chain, particularly in dealing with the impact of Brexit for EU customers
- Create a positive and productive working environment that allows colleagues to grow and prosper
- Lead by example and inspire the team towards our shared vision
Role Details:
- Reports into the Managing Director (Owner)
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week with flexibility within core hours
- Benefits include pension, 25 days of holidays plus Bank Holidays, and a performancebased bonus linked to achieving deliverable improvements in the supply chain
