Front of House Receptionist | £25,000 | Full-Time (40 hours pw)

Manchester


We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time front of house receptionist to take ownership of a stunning reception in a Grade II listed building located within the vibrant neighbourhood of Manchester's Oxford Road corridor.

You will need to be immaculately presented and adept at delivering a premium front of house reception service. Previous experience in a commercial office environment or a customer service role is essential.


Hours - Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm (hour lunch break unpaid)


Salary - £25,000 pa

Start - End March


Key Responsibilities:


Managing Reception

  • Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambiance reflects the clients' and tenants' expectations
  • Responsible for delivering an exceptional meet and greet service
  • Ensure a warm, friendly and professional welcome you will become the 'face of the building'
  • Sign in all visitors to the building following appropriate reception processes
  • Manage deliveries including couriers and post
  • You will also develop a good understanding of the local area and develop a local amenities information file becoming the 'go to person' for local knowledge and information

The building

  • Assist the Building Manager to manage maintenance contractors and help with any general administration tasks, as required
  • You will be proactive in making suggestions or recommending improvements to the visitor or tenant experience at the building
  • You will submit weekly reports on activity

Tenant experience and community engagement

  • Develop and introduce seasonal events and added value initiatives for the tenants, to create a sense of community and aid enjoyment in the workplace, as and when required
  • Produce a biweekly communication newsletter to update tenants on initiatives to encourage uptake and participation, ensuring content is always on brand
  • Propose and agree engaging content for the building's social media accounts
  • Confident and creative with a good eye for detail and able to produce communications using onsite/branded graphics.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:


  • Personable with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service
  • Proactive, selfmotivated and can easily multitask
  • You should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous front of house reception or customer service experience in a busy, premium role
