    Description

    Senior Fullstack Engineer (Scala/TypeScript) - Blockchain Fintech - Up to £90k + bonus + shares - Remote heavy across UK

    Orbis is partnered with a market-leading Blockchain firm in the UK The business has quickly established itself as the #1 provider of trading infrastructure and solutions for their elite list of clients i.e. high-frequency trading firms, hedge funds, tier 1 investment banks, and more.

    Techstack

    Scala, AWS, CI/CD, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka

    Responsibilities

    • Be a part of a high-performing SWE team, collaborating directly with stakeholders to contribute to each stage of product and feature development
    • Work on a range of projects in a product-driven environment where you'll gain full exposure to the Blockchain sector
    • Continuously look to improve internal technology processes and tools to enhance performance and productivity across the business

    Required skills/experience

    • 4+ years of Java or Scala experience and a track record of building maintainable/scalable code
    • Experience working in a fullstack environment with TypeScript, Angular or similar
    • Exposure and good knowledge of AWS, GCP or Azure
    • Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team
    • Track record of working for reputable tech-first financial services firms such as fintech's, market-makers, exchanges
