- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning and appreciation of the Spanish language and culture.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop cross-curricular initiatives and incorporate real-life experiences into lessons.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences to ensure clear communication and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any additional support requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field with a focus on Spanish language education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching Spanish to students of varying ages and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
