    Description

    Position:

    • Childrens Home Registered Manager

    Location: Bradford Children and Families Trust

    Department: Services to Children and Young People

    Service Group: Children's Residential Service

    Reports To: Service Manager/Responsible Individual


    Hours: 37.5 per week

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage a dedicated team to achieve optimal outcomes for children and young people.
    • Ensure strict compliance with National Children's Home Regulations, Quality Standards, and internal policies.
    • Spearhead Regulation 44 monitoring visits and regulatory inspections from Ofsted.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive staff training and development initiatives.
    • Maintain effective budget management and financial oversight.
    • Foster positive community relations and promote the homes role within the local area.

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
    • Proven managerial experience in residential childcare settings.
    • Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services.
    • Demonstrated understanding of regulatory frameworks and child protection protocols.
    • Strong communication skills and sound decisionmaking abilities.
    • Dedication to continuous improvement and delivering highquality services.
