Would you like an internal security consultant position that allows you the opportunity to engage with multiple stakeholders, act as a trusted advisor for the business and information security leaders and autonomously implement end-to-end security and resilience control measures.


If so Trident Search are working with a leading UK merchant banking group who are looking for an Information Security Officer.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Provide advice and guidance on all facets of infosec internally and with business stakeholders.
  • Carry out security risk and business impact analysis.
  • Identify potential risk and mitigate by designing alternate solutions/ countermeasures.
  • Perform technical assessments of information systems.
  • Oversee/ facilitate accreditation activities.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Proven track record of working at Csuite level in information security.
  • Previous experience of implementing Information Security frameworks.
  • Good GDPR knowledge.
  • Knowledgeable in Governance, Risk and Compliance.
  • Experience of working with infosec technologies such as: DLP, IPS, IDS, PAM, SIEM, Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Cloud.
  • Highly charismatic with good communication skills.

Desirable:


  • Experience of Business Impact Assessments
  • NIST FSSCP Knowledge
  • Cloud security experience
  • Understanding of PCI/DSS, FCA, PRA.
  • Familiar with project management methodologies.
