Graduate Structural Engineer
This is an exciting role within a dynamic and forward-thinking group of manufacturing companies. Winners in the top 100 manufacturing award for two consecutive years.

This is a full-time position based in North Essex.This role would suit someone who is looking for an opportunity to work locally, within a great team.
Graduate Structural Engineer (GSE) Responsibilities
Reporting to the Operations Director and working with the operations and technical teams, the GSE is responsible for all structural proposals, calculations, and sketches.
This role has a wide remit which includes input to all technical aspects and is animportant role to the business.
SE EssentialsEnergy**, a positive attitude, and commitment are prerequisites as are exceptional IT and Microsoft skills. Previous experience as a Structural Engineer or engineering experience.
Must live within a commutable distance.
Abilities, Skills, and Knowledge
- Undertaking design calculations of architectural metalwork designs
- Preparation of technical specification
- Ability to lead technical design
- Preliminary and detailed design calculations
- Developing new and improved processes for the technical team
- Attending client meetings as required
- Assisting with design
- Providing technical support to the company's pre contract team as required
- Ability to work directly with clients and colleagues to ensure that projects are completed to schedule
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Be able to work accurately, with good attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Have problem solving skills
Qualifications and experience:
- BSc/BEng (Hons) or MSC/MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering, along with excellent attention to detail
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
