    Description

    The Company:
    Our customer is a specialist in producing paints and coatings for the aviation industry.

    Salary:
    Up to £17.15 per hour (PAYE).

    Location:
    This position is based at the manufacturing site in Shildon.

    Safety Coordinator Role:
    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Creating risk assessments and standard operating procedures for the maintenance department.
    • Reviewing and enhancing existing SOPs to ensure compliance with UK regulations and company standards.
    • Offering temporary health & safety assistance to the maintenance team.

    Your Background:
    The perfect candidate should have:

    • Prior experience in crafting risk assessments and SOPs in a manufacturing environment.
    • A NEBOSH certificate.
    • A good grasp of maintenance tasks in manufacturing; however, detailed engineering knowledge is not mandatory.
