    About The Role

    Are you passionate about nurturing young artists or musicians and fostering creativity?

    New Horizons Primary School is seeking to appoint a part time Art or Music Teacher to join our team. You will be a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher who can inspire our pupils to develop a love for Art/Music by encouraging them to express themselves through various mediums.

    You will be willing to take the opportunity to play a full part in the further development of our school and join us in our aims to make learning irresistible and to provide a nurturing and safe environment for everyone.

    • Experience of teaching Art or Music at Primary School level
    • Degree in relevant teaching subject area
    • Passionate about teaching, learning and transforming the life chances of our children
    • Plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum that supports our continued Arts Mark journey
    • Good or Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
    • High expectations for yourself and the children to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
    • An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities
    • A positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
    • Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools

    New Horizons Primary School is a proud member of the Thinking Schools Academy Trust. This enables us to create a unique offer for children: an "all-through" educational journey in which they remain with the same family of schools throughout their education.
