The Sub-Project Manager will be working within the Fire Systems Category, within Categorised projects supports the delivery of solutions to Site Asset Management Database (SAMDb) to the following issues on the Site Management Project Office (SMPrO) work list, with the aim to deliver best value solutions, standardising the delivery model, standardising solutions and maximising Learning From Experience (LFE);Fire systems
Building Evacuation Systems
The Project Manager sets the project execution strategies and uses a cross-functional project team to deliver the project safely in line with company policy achieving established goals and objectives within the agreed baseline.
Delivering fit for purpose work in a safe manner to meet or better the project baseline cost, schedule and quality requirements.
Controlling scope and cost to the agreed project baseline.Developing and executing effective execution strategies and plans in line with the overall project strategies and plans.
Providing accurate and timely reporting on project status, activities and performance.
Identifying risks and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
Implementing and maintaining effective integrated project execution strategies and plans.
Implementing and maintaining effective communication to the project team and stakeholders.
Maintaining effective communications and executing the project execution strategies and plans within their project work scope.
Production of key project documentation e.g. Experience of working on projects in the nuclear industry;
Experience in project management, managing delivery to cost and schedule;
Knowledge of the Sellafield project lifecycle
Graduate degree in relevant field
