Role purpose:


The Marketing Strategy team has responsibility for defining Aldermore's Group marketing strategy, bringing the customer to life within the business and developing a long-term plan to meet business and customer needs.

This includes evaluating performanceto drive best practice, shared learnings and return on investment.


As Marketing Effectiveness Manager, you will work in collaboration with Group Marketing and Group Strategy to implement a robust marketing attribution strategy, including ongoing optimisation of marketing performance to drive best practise across the group.


About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Marketing Strategy, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering a marketing attribution strategy and working with Group Marketing to achieve ongoing optimisation of marketing performance and ROI.
  • Working with Group Marketing teams to create a framework for Post Implementation Review (PIR) to establish what is working and what is not, along with recommendations to implement and improve effectiveness.
  • Standardisation of PIR reporting across the Group to drive best practise and align performance metrics to business objectives.
  • Leading ongoing monitoring to maximize performance across all marketing channels, including paid and non paid, to influence the future direction of channel mix.
  • Bringing together and analysing data from multiple existing sources to create a clear view of performance across the Group and identify opportunities to optimise our reporting function.
  • Taking all necessary steps to ensure there are no reputational risk implications to the Group because of any marketing activity
  • Using the expertise and experience of the wider team and contribute to its objectives and plans
  • Staying in tune with product development to ensure appropriate propositions and marketing strategies

About you:


As a key member of the marketing team, you will ensure the customer remains at the heart of everything you do, acting as an ambassador of the organisations and team's purpose, values, and culture.


You will:

  • Have experience in a similar marketing analyst / business partnering role data analytics is key
  • Have an analytical mindset and appreciate the importance of testing new solutions or ideas based on what you've learned
  • Be able to promote effective decision making by analysing facts, forecasting results recommending objective solutions.
  • Be able to convey and receive information in a clear and efficient way
  • Possess strong relationship management skills to build partnerships across Group marketing
  • Support the objectives of the business lines, identifying and recommending opportunities for standardisation, driving costs down and increasing efficiencies across the group
  • Identify areas for improvement and have a 'try it out' mentality
  • Operate effectively in an ambiguous environment
  • Have strong communication skills and have a 'crack it together' mindset
  • An enthusiastic team player, with the attitude to deliver in a fastpaced environment
  • Innovative in approach and thinking, challenging the status quo
