Marlborough Primary School is a large two form entry primary school set in extensive grounds on the outskirts of Macclesfield. We are looking for a School Business Manager following the retirement of our current incumbent and think this is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career and to make your mark in a good school.
This could be an opportunity for someone looking to build their existing experience in education or someone who can bring the best of their industry skills into a not-for-profit organisation which is driven by a strong sense of moral purpose.
Working alongside the Headteacher, the School Business Manager is responsible for the management of Finance, Administration, HR, Facilities, MIS and Health & Safety in the school.
You will be the school's leading support staff professional and work as part of the leadership team to ensure that the school meets its educational aims. You will promote the highest standards of business ethics and ensure the effective use of resources.
The ideal candidate will have experience in leading teams in a multi-disciplinary environment, be resilient, proactive and able to adapt to challenges as they arise. We are looking for someone who will contribute to the success of the school and be a key player in the Leadership Team.
You will be eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme and have 26 days holiday, rising to 31 with service. There will be a full induction programme to help settle into school life quickly.
Marlborough Primary School is a member of the Fallibroome Trust, a ten school multi-academy trust based in Cheshire. The Trust offers opportunities for peer support and professional development.
