Power Electronics Design Engineer

As Power Electronics Design Engineer, you will:_
- Design, develop and test hardware and software with the support of the Principal Project Engineer and Project Manager
- Develop, analyse and validate power electronic design solutions
- Use prototyping, simulation and validation testing
- Generate functional, component, manufacturing, test and validation specifications and documentation
- Ensure robust, reliable designs that meet budgetary and time targets
- Support CAD modelling and PCB development
- Liaise with Production
- Support installation and commissioning
- Prepare materials for design reviews
As Power Electronics Design Engineer, you will need to be:_
- Qualified to degree level, equivalent or above in Electronic Engineering
- Experienced in the design and test of power electronic convertors (AC: AC, DC: DC, DC: AC) or Motor Drives
- Experienced in the use of simulation tools such as PLECS or Matlab/Simulink
- Experienced in power electronics design
