We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Admin Support to join our Waiting List team.
The main part of this post will be retrieving case notes from locations around the hospital for theatre sessions, in order for the consultant to have the correct documentation for the patients surgery to go ahead.
Duties will also include helping to complete deadlines for u-codes and open clinics, basic validation and chasing up results, photocopying and any other admin duties required by the Scheduled care Management team.
This role is to provide the case notes for the Waiting List team and provide admin support to the Senior Management team for SACCT division.
Photocopying, retrieving case notes, data entry, contacting patients over the phone, aspects of validation and any other admin duties required.
Being able to use own initiative and the ability to prioritise own day-to-day work without supervision is key to this role as well as always maintaining confidentiality and have good communication skills.
The Trust provides services to the 440,000 residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, as well as specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients.

Retrieve case notes daily for Waiting list to Theatres ready for patients to have their surgery.Collect and sort incoming mail for the Scheduled Care Division
Manage telephone enquiries as and when required in an efficient, tactful, and diplomatic manner, ensuring that any messages/information are passed on swiftly.
File patient investigations and correspondence. Ensure that medical staff are made aware of results from requested investigations.
Inputting any data entry in a timely manner.
Work flexibly when other admin support colleagues are absent to uphold continuity of the Scheduled care service and to provide full cover during periods of annual/sick leave providing the full range of duties as carried out by the Division.
To undertake other duties as and when required, as directed by the Directorate Support Managers/Assistant Directorate Managers to aid the smooth running of the department.
Undertake duties in accordance with Trust policy and standard procedures in areas such as handing of case notes and appointment systems.
