High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team in Bristol.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students from Primary schools, and SEN schools.

Soft Skills and Qualifications Needed to Be a Successful HLTA:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, teachers, and parents.
Strong organizational skills, allowing you to plan and deliver engaging educational activities.
Flexibility and adaptability, as you may be required to work across different school settings.
Patience and empathy, ensuring you can effectively support students with diverse needs.
A positive attitude and a passion for education, inspiring students to reach their full potential.

The Role and Responsibility of a HLTA:

Supporting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons, ensuring students are actively involved in their learning.
Providing oneonone assistance to students who require additional support, helping them to overcome educational challenges.
Supervising students during lessons, break times, and offsite activities to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Assisting with administrative tasks such as preparing resources and maintaining student records.
Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning strategies.
Conducting assessments and providing feedback to both teachers and students, enabling continuous improvement in educational outcomes.

The minimum requirement for this role is a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification. Specific qualifications are a bonus but not a requirement.

The Supply Room now offers in house training through CPD certified online courses for designed for a range of SEN needs.

We also provide Team Teach level 2 training during the breaks between terms
