    Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI) is a global greentech company operating in Waste to Energy (WtE) and Renewable Gas.     Job Description

    Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrates commitment to HSEQ. Actively encourages and leads the HZI and contractor teams to implement and comply with project HSEQ requirements
    • Ensures that all relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated into area of responsibility and that, in consultation with site management, HSE and Commissioning team, HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent practicable
    • Ensures that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are reviewed regarding HSE requirements, and that work is carried out in accordance with the RAMS
    • Ensures that works within area of responsibility are executed in accordance with contract requirements, and conform with the approved drawings and standards, project time and budget
    • Delivers Lessons Learned and feedback for current and future projects
    • Is aware of the HSE requirements relevant to their role, and implements and complies with them

    Qualifications

    • Mechanical or Process Engineer / Equivalent Science Degree with Experience
    • Has knowledge of relevant Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) legal and management system requirements
    • Valid SCC Certificate or equivalent
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite applications with user knowledge of Sharepoint and COMOS
    • Solution orientated
    • Good forward planner
    • Ability to present ideas effectively
    • Able to evaluate ideas of others
    • Good command of English, other languages an advantage
    • Working hrs : 48 hrs/week
