    Elevate your career as a Multiskilled Maintenance Electrician with a reputable family-run business in the heart of Barnsley.

    This esteemed enterprise is seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for excellence in electrical maintenance to join their team.

    With a generous salary of £46,500, this position offers a unique shift pattern of 3 days on, 2 days off, followed by 2 days on and 3 days off, allowing for a balanced work-life rhythm.

    The role is designed for a professional who takes pride in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment.

    As a key player in the maintenance team, one will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including planned preventative maintenance, which is crucial for minimising downtime and maintaining productivity.

    The ability to troubleshoot PLC systems is essential, as is the capacity to respond swiftly and effectively to any reactive maintenance needs that may arise.


    Enhancing machine reliability through strategic upgrades will be a rewarding aspect of this role, as will the chance to engage in project work that contributes to the continuous improvement of the facility.

    Installation work will also be a significant component, offering the chance to showcase technical skills and attention to detail.


    The successful candidate will hold an NVQ level qualification in electrical maintenance, demonstrating a solid foundation of knowledge and expertise.

    Would suit someone who has worked as: Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Multiskilled Maintenance Electrician, Shift Maintenance Engineer, Shift Electrical Engineer or Multiskilled Automation Technician.
