Overview of the Junior Estimator
2fawcett are recruiting for a Graduate engineer for a Junior estimator position based in Sheffield. You will be part of an exciting team and have the opportunity to feel valued in your role


Responsibilities of the Junior Estimator

  • Produce CAD Drawings using your skills and knowledge
  • Processing new enquiries and identifying customer requirements.
  • Liaise with customers and colleagues to resolve issues or queries around the enquiries.
  • Input BOMs and pricing onto purposebuilt quotation system. Training provided.
  • Obtaining prices from third party companies and processing quotations received.
  • Answering general queries by telephone.
  • Maintaining records, filing systems and computer files.
  • Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required.
Requirements of the Junior Estimator

  • Mechanical degree preferred (open to other engineering related qualifications)
  • Estimating and customer service experience would be beneficial
  • Mathematical and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficient in reading construction drawings
  • Experience using AutoCAD, or similar programs preferred but training provided.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook

Salary:
£24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
