What you'll do:


Reporting to the Director of UK Business, your role will be pivotal in driving service revenue growth and profitability by executing our commercial strategy.

Leading transformation in commercial, marketing, and channel aspects within the UK Business function, you'll shape and implement strategies crucial to our success.

Your responsibilities include defining, communicating, and ingraining the UK Business strategy. This entails crafting and executing the Business Commercial and Marketing strategy, along with overseeing operational commercial and marketing functions. Central to this role is fostering commercial momentum by boosting sales productivity through enablement and channel transformation.

Your primary objective is to uphold Vodafone Business as the fastest-growing B2B telco in the UK.

This will be accomplished by uniting the Commercial & Bidding, Marketing and Propositions, and Sales Enablement teams, aligning customer-facing and central functions.

Integral to our Business Strategy 2025 is establishing brand awareness and consideration.

Collaborating with the Head of Marketing, you'll champion and assist the team in crafting a comprehensive marketing communications plan (campaigns and sponsorships), amplifying demand and sales capabilities to attract, engage, and convert a larger customer base.

As the Head of Commercial & Marketing, your focus will be on identifying strategic programs for sales growth. Maximizing sales effectiveness through process optimization, channel strategy, and efficiency enhancements will be key.

You'll also nurture talent, cultivating high-performing, diverse teams, and streamlining our organization for long-term success to meet Vodafone's future needs.

  • Propel growth by tactically executing the commercial strategy outlined in B2025 and Project Newton.
  • Unify Commercial & Bidding, Marketing, and Propositions, along with Sales Enablement to deliver an unparalleled customer experience and enhance commercial momentum.
  • Enhance operational efficiencies within the operating model, addressing pain points in the customer journey when purchasing from Vodafone.
  • Establish a unique business brand in the UK through strategic communications, campaigns, sponsorships, and innovation hubs.
  • Initiate new demand generation strategies and reinforce sales capabilities.
  • Define and implement a channel strategy transformation aimed at elevating revenue and profitability.
  • Identify pivotal strategic programs to drive sales growth and ensure continuous multiyear enhancements.
  • Spearhead performance improvements, including the development of streamlined processes and systems to augment both employee and customer experiences.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders internally and externally, up to the C-Suite level, fostering relationships with customers.
  • Explore and develop innovative opportunities to expand revenue and margins.
  • Lead and provide support for premerger commercial and marketing leadership initiatives.
