    Contract: Seasonal work during school breaks
    Hours: 8.00am – 6.00pm on weekdays. Full season or part-time roles available
    Role Overview
    Our Early Years Leader is responsible for running the Early Years program at camp, creating a fun and nurturing environment. In addition to managing the setup, you will engage and lead sports, arts, crafts activities, and games for the enrolled Early Years children, our Ultimate Activity Juniors. These activities align with EYFS standards, focusing on participation and quality.
    Under the guidance of the Camp Manager, you will be the go-to person for the 4- and 5-year-olds, ensuring their well-being and providing excellent care. Collaborating with the Camp Manager, you will ensure compliance with all Ofsted regulations and act as the primary contact for parents.
    Our Early Years program maintains a 1:8 ratio, requiring coordination, direction, and support to deliver top-notch childcare.
    Roles and Responsibilities
    • Manage a fun and engaging program for Ultimate Juniors, meeting EYFS standards
    • Organize sports, arts & crafts, and games for 4- and 5-year-olds, emphasizing participation and enjoyment
    • Lead a small Early Years team
    • Ensure Ofsted compliance and communicate with inspectors during inspections
    • Communicate with parents/guardians of Juniors, providing feedback
    • Handle administrative tasks for Juniors (e.g., sign-in/out)
    • Work closely with the Camp Manager to prioritize child welfare
    • Supervise and interact with children beyond activity hours
    • Deliver high-quality childcare tailored to individual needs
    • Uphold the company's promise of 'Inspiring Children Every Day'

    • Enforce camp policies, including health and safety measures
    • Perform miscellaneous duties such as cleaning and equipment maintenance

    Essential Requirements
    • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education
    • Experience working with 4- and 5-year-olds, tailoring activities to their age and abilities
    • Passionate about children's development through play and activity
    • Strong organization and communication skills
    • Proficient in EYFS implementation at a camp
    • Excellent face-to-face customer service and communication skills
    • Proactive team player comfortable with challenges
    • Seeking a rewarding career expanding in childcare
    Desired Qualifications
    • Some supervisory or management experience
    • Prior experience leading a group of children independently
    • Hold a Paediatric First Aid qualification
