    Food Production & Processing Norwich

    c. £50,000 per year plus company benefits
    4 on 4 off shift pattern (days) - 10-hour shift from 6am-4pm, plus overtime paid at 1.3x and 38 days holiday

    This state-of-the-art food production business is working with cutting edge equipment, technologies, and processes to deliver the best-in-class and most sustainable food to the global consumer market. They work with some of the leading distributers and suppliers across the UK and Europe. Their facility is purpose-built and a true modern engineering showcase, representing the next generation of food production processes.

    The Role

    You will maintain and improve process and plant equipment, carrying out planned maintenance activities, and corrective maintenance activities when needed. The engineer will also carry out improvements that align with operations and plant performance plans, and reduce costs in the business by eliminating waste. Additionally, the technician will build an effective CMMS system and implement SOPs.

    The Person

    You will be an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, ideally with experience or understanding of an FMCG environment. The engineer should be apprentice-trained, qualified to NVQ Level 3 in electrical or mechanical, and hold a 17th edition electrical wiring qualification. The ability to work under pressure, provide strong attention to detail, and be competent in PLC fault finding and reading schematic drawings is essential. An aptitude for fault finding and diagnosis is also required.
