Alexander Daniels are delighted to be working on a retained and exclusive basis to recruit for a fantastic retail business based just outside Kenilworth.

The business is a growing success story with a fantastic and relatable brand.

Following a period of growth and continued plans, we are looking to recruit an experienced, hands on Finance Director who is able to roll their sleeves up but also be able to providestrategic support to the board.

This position requires a qualified finance person who is high energy and an excellent communicator.

Duties will include;

  • Full responsibility for reviewing and ensuring the Finance team is able to support and challenge the business financially and commercially.
  • Quickly understand the Company's key revenue and cost drivers, focussing the business on performance and continuous profitability improvement.
  • Own financial reporting of the business, ensuring that all financial information is prepared in an accurate and timely manner, that all K.P.I's are identified, reported on and improved through active involvement and to ensure that the business maximisesits profits and cash through controlled growth.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of highquality reporting to the Board including continuous development and upgrading of the business's MI to aid commercial analysis and decision making, forward planning and to support delivery of the business plan.
  • With the CEO develop strategy and supporting operational plans to deliver our Corporate objectives. Provide leadership across the business to ensure their successful implementation.
  • Assist the CEO in prioritising strategic initiatives to ensure maximum growth potential for both revenue and EBITDA.
  • Prepare the budget and 3 year financial plan, with supporting analysis and report on progress at agreed intervals.
  • Review and then propose and implement appropriate financial policies, procedures and controls to ensure that the business is acting in a corporate way. As part of this process ensure an appropriate delegation of authorities is introduced and operated aswell as ensuring that that key Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed monthly to confirm accurately the Company's reports.
  • Prepare and agree the annual accounts including liaison with accountants, auditors and other statutory bodies where appropriate.
