- Their practice is one of the largest nationally and is expanding. They have an enviable client list, made up of landlords and tenants (with national portfolios), developers and investors, ranging from significant public sector bodies to FTSE 250 household names across a range of sectors including telecoms, retail, energy and central and local government and transport and infrastructure.
- You will play an important role in helping the team grow, assisting in a wide range of contentious commercial property matters, including telecoms, landlord and tenant (e.g. 1954 Act renewals, dilapidations and break notices) and general property issues such as adverse possession, easements and title disputes.The team is extremely busy so you will be able to get stuck into great quality client work from the get go.
- The Property Disputes Team works very closely with their transactional Real Estate team so you will also have the opportunity to develop strong ties across the practice where you will be supported by a tight knit, friendly team with a collegiate approach and a firm wide commitment to development.
- At least 1 year of post qualified experience in the property litigation space as a UK (England, Wales or Scotland) Solicitor.
- In depth knowledge of Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 renewals (both unopposed and opposed) ideally in the context of managing a large property portfolio.
- A proven track record of financial success.
