Major Programmes and Projects (MPP) are the capital infrastructure delivery specialists to the DIO & MOD.
Based UK & Overseas, our dedicated professionals are passionate about the work they do and the projects we deliver as an organisation.
These include the development of runways and jetties, key refurbishments, accommodation for US Forces and much more.MPP's portfolio includes high profile and complex projects, with our Major Programmes in value over £1bn.
We have 7 directorates, some which are directly aligned to our Front-Line Commands which strengthens our support in the delivery of Capital Infrastructure.
Army, Air, Navy, UKStratCom, United States Visiting Forces (USVF) Defence Continuity Team (DCT) and the Portfolio Office. All are diverse and unique, delivering excellence to our customers and stakeholders. Our reach is exponential, and no two days are the sameWe are excited to offer the opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Lead to join the MPP USVF team.
This role has responsibility for ensuring compliance with applicable UK and US regulations throughout the sub-programmes as delegated.
This capital works programme is delivering £2.7Bn of projects in a multifaceted working environment on US Visiting Forces occupied MOD sites across the UK.
The team is dedicated to delivering quality facilities on time and in budget to ensure the US meet their operational commitments.
The USVF programme develops and ensures delivery of sub-programmes of work to support the European Deterrent and European Consolidation Initiatives.
This is a programme currently consisting of 70 live projects with further projects in the pipeline which are being developed and will be delivered over the next 6-8 years.
The role provides effective management, motivation, co-ordination and development of project teams to deliver a portfolio of projects to time, cost, quality and performance parameters.
Working as part of wider integrated project teams, this role ensures USVF projects are compliant with project requirements and standards and are incorporated in robust Contracts to deliver value for money and support Customers to manage and maintain project approvals and deliver within your delegated authority.
The Regulatory Compliance lead provides management and governance, working with fellow technical specialists to develop positive working environments and ways of working to achieve a High Performing Team ethos.
The postholder is accountable for ensuring adherence and conformity to all agreed DIO processes and operating procedures, particularly those detailed under RIBA 2020 guidance.

Responsibilities Include:
Providing support to project delivery and Programme Management Office (PMO) teams in the management of technical best practice by industry partners, selected through various procurement mechanisms, to deliver projects on behalf of DIO in line with MOD processes, procedures and contractual terms and conditions.
Build and maintain a comprehensive data base to detail unique technical solutions, providing continuity to overcome dispute or differences between dual regulations and standards.
Carry out assurance and reviews at key stages to monitor benefits evident from improved technical scrutiny to achieve project compliance and provide confidence to key stakeholders.
