Role:
Corporate Finance Accountant

Location:
Remote / Leeds office 1 ? 2 days per week

Salary:
£35k - £50k

Summary:

Ideally some energy industry experience

Key responsibilities:

Day to day operation of the cash facilities and availability
Production of accurate short / long term working capital and free cash flow forecasts
Ownership / development of bank reconciliation process
Ensuring reconciling items are maintained, investigated and resolved on a timely basis
Timely / accurate reporting of actual and forecast interest payable / receivable and transaction fees / charges from the bank.
Optimisation of Finance Costs and Ownership of the Receivables Finance facility
Maintenance of supplier security facilities including cash deposits, parent company guarantees and letters of credit
Monthly and quarterly treasury reporting

Skills and experience required:

Degree level or equivalent plus fully / part qualified accountant from a recognised accountancy board
Energy industry experience previous experience within a similar role (desirable)
Able to confidently use Microsoft Office
Highly numerate with practical experience of accounting
Proven ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines
Able to report financial issues to a wide ranging audience
Ability to confidentially interact with senior / external stakeholders of the Treasury function
