Fantastic luxury retail HQ based central London is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable experienced person.

Hours are typically 9-5.30, Monday-Friday each week. ** Hybrid opportunity to work from home on Fridays (with Mon-Thurs based in their beautiful Central London office)

This is a 6 month temping assignment with a high likelihood of ongoing extension, paying up to £18.00 per hour (plus holiday in addition) equivalent to circa £35K per annum.

Accounts Payable SpecialistMain purpose:

Responsible for the accurate and timely recording of Accounts Payable transactions, ensuring completeness and compliance with the Internal Controls framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Scanning, coding and posting high volume of manual and PO invoices/credit notes

Accurate input, distribution and follow up of all invoices on the electronic approval system

Accurate recording of employee expenses to staff vendor accounts (SAP CONCUR)

Reconciling suppliers accounts

Resolving queries and disputes with suppliers

Perform month-end closing tasks

Ensure completeness of documentation for audit purpose and file accordingly

Provide cover for the team when necessary and assist with any other tasks/projects as directed

Profile:

Relevant accounting skills and Accounts Payable experience

SAP experience of FI-AP transactions and reporting

Good Excel skills

Attention to details, organised, proactive and solution-oriented

Interested in new technologies

Excellent communication skills both written and oral, team spirit and a positive mind

Team player with ability to work independently and meet established deadlines

Experience and understanding of the retail industry is highly desirable
