- Responsible to the Company Directors for the financial, technical and project management control of projects.
- Responsible for seeking new business opportunities and growing workload levels from existing and new clients.
- Implement internal QMS procedures and ensure all designs comply with the company's internal checking protocols.
- When necessary, develop new QMS procedures to further support the current requirements of the business.
- Assist the Company Directors in optimising the overall performance of the business and ensuring the strategic targets of the company are met.
- Preparation of fee proposals for new projects.
- Undertake coordination with other professionals as appropriate, including contractors.
- Liaise with clients and other members of the design team to ensure designs meet the client brief including attendance at design team meetings / site meetings as required.
- Mentoring of less experienced members of the Geo-Environmental engineering teams.
- Excellent technical capability with a successful record of delivery.
- A proven track record of managing Geo-Environmental engineering & multi-disciplinary projects.
- Experience of establishing strong client relationships and generating repeat business opportunities.
- Strong leadership skills and proven experience of having successfully led a team.
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.
- A strong awareness of all commercial aspects of projects.

Associate Director Geo-EnvironmentalOur client is an independent multi-disciplinary engineering, environmental and project management consultancy.They provide essential support across a wide range of sectors at all stages of the built environment development that improves communities, protects the environment, and creates value for clients.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be required to coordinate, supervise, and actively engage with clients by advising and collaborating to offer them innovative designs, design documentation, overseeing the tender process, producing precise contract documentation, and managing teams of subcontractors and technical experts.
They will be responsible for on-site operations, creating detailed laboratory testing schedules and producing final bill measurement involving rock and soil mechanics, environmental engineering, groundwater hydrology and their impact on human health and the environment.
The role entails both an office and hands-on site presence which will include UK wide travel and leading the Geo-Environmental team comprised of a Principal, Senior and Graduate Engineer.
The role does allow for hybrid working.Personal Profile:
