    Description

    Associate Director Geo-Environmental

    Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary engineering, environmental, and project management consultancy.

    They offer crucial support across various sectors throughout the built environment development, enhancing communities, safeguarding the environment, and bringing value to clients.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Report to the Company Directors for financial, technical, and project management oversight of projects.
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand workload from existing and new clients.
    • Implement internal QMS procedures and ensure designs align with internal checking protocols.
    • If needed, develop new QMS procedures to support business requirements.
    • Support Company Directors in enhancing business performance and achieving strategic targets.
    • Create fee proposals for new projects.
    • Coordinate with other professionals, including contractors.
    • Communicate with clients and design team members to ensure designs meet client specifications.
    • Mentor less experienced Geo-Environmental engineering team members.

    Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

    • Strong technical expertise with a history of successful project delivery.
    • Proven experience in managing Geo-Environmental engineering & multi-disciplinary projects.
    • Established client relationship management skills leading to repeat business.
    • Effective leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
    • Thorough understanding of the commercial aspects of projects.

    The selected individual will coordinate with clients, provide innovative designs and documentation, oversee tender processes, handle subcontractors, and manage technical experts.

    Responsibilities include on-site operations, laboratory testing schedules, and final bill measurement concerning rock and soil mechanics, environmental engineering, and groundwater hydrology.

    The position involves office and on-site presence, UK-wide travel, and leadership of the Geo-Environmental team.
