    Touchlight has created a new DNA vector for use in advanced genetic medicines that is safer and more efficacious than conventional plasmid DNA.

    Our unique platform also enables DNA production at unprecedented scale, speed and purity.

    We believe that DNA is fundamental to the future of medicine and our CDMO has a focus on the following areas:
    Nucleic acid medicines (mRNA and DNA).
    Ex-vivo and in-vivo cell and genetic medicines.
    Gene therapy using viral vectors and gene editing.
    Autologous and allogenic cell therapy.

    Touchlight is currently seeking an experienced scientist to join the Manufacturing Team.

    Our Manufacturing Scientists are responsible for the generation of client and collaborator production requests for dbDNA at either feasibility grade or GMP .

    Key activities will include manufacturing dbDNA at both, feasibility and GMP grades , applying best practices and regulatory guidance, ensuring and m aintaining high standards of H&S , adhering to all documentation created for GMP and feasibility grade products and maintaining Quality Management System by timely raising and investigating Deviations, CAPAs and Change Controls .

    A background in a scientific discipline, ideally at degree level
    ~Good IT skills including the use of software like SnapGene or Lasergene; good knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to update production databases, stock control systems or ERP
    ~ Ability to follow SOPs and to complete Manufacturing Documentation (lab books, forms, logbooks, process instructions)
