- Maintain accurate project records ( progress, daily diaries etc)
- Monitor effectiveness of the H&S Management System and implement improvement solutions
- Write and review RAMS and accepting subcontractor RAMS
- Understand, control and issue safety documentation
- Assist the Project Manager to lead risk/opportunity reviews, present the Risk Register and recommend / implement changes
- Follow targets / KPIs in line with project objectives and monitor performance
- Contribute towards workshops that cover the principles of continuous improvement
- Help to develop, implement and periodically update resource loaded schedules
- Ensure production of operational milestones reflect master schedule and customer expectations
- Requestion of plant and materials
- Understanding of the contract and knowledge of commercial impact
- Help to develop, implement and update resource allocation plans and raise appropriate requests
- Setting people to work
- Work alongside Project Management and deputise where required
- HNC/HND/Degree in an electrical or engineering discipline would be preferable and/or relevant Site Experience with the Utilities / Construction Industry
- Comfortable with ambiguity, able to tease out sensitive issues and lead cross-functional teams towards solutions.
- Ability to work across conflicting interest groups to develop solutions to complex operational and commercial problems
- People Management experience and relationship management skills
- Commercial awareness with knowledge of both budgetary and Financial control.
- Knowledge of Project Management methodology.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willing to work away from home.

By joining our Power Transmission and Distribution team as a Project Engineer in our Operations Team , you'll work with true experts wholl share their knowledge and provide support, encouragement, and invaluable feedback so you never stop learning.
This position will be based at 1 of our projects in Argyll
Bring us your capability, and well help you take it much, much further.
Based across the UK on our projects you will work on our Large Infrastructure within our Power Transmission and Distribution Projects.
Roles include a generous subsistence package (subject to T&C's), Allowances, Pension, and career progression within the industry.
