Are you an experienced Payroll Clerk? Wise Employment is looking for a hardworking, dedicated Payroll Administrator to join a large company based in Plymouth.
This is an exciting position where not only do you have access to a whole variety of benefits, but you will be working Temporary to Permanent allowing weekly pay initially and then move to monthly. The working hours are Monday – Friday, 08:45am – 17:30pm.
The day to day activities of a Payroll Clerk will include doing the 4-weekly pay run, dealing with the pensions of the 3 companies within the group. You will also be dealing with the general administrative tasks that are part of working within this division.
To be successful in the role of Payroll Administrator, you will need to have:
Supporting the payroll team to assist in the process the 4-weekly payroll, dealing with hourly and salaried pay.
Oversee and check key areas of the payroll activity, to ensure accuracy and compliance i.e. new starters, promotions, leavers, etc
Prepare and input data into the payroll system, to produce reports when necessary
Resolving payroll queries, whilst providing excellent customer service
Support key business projects to provide guidance on Payroll processes and legislative requirements.
Good communication skills, you will be dealing with store queries around payslips.
Strong Excel Skills
Adhere to the confidentiality policy/GDPR.
Work to strict to deadlines.
Flexible and be able to adaptable to other office duties.
Ad hoc Admin /Office duties.
