    Description

    Job Opportunity: Payroll Clerk

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our dedicated team. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in payroll processing and day-to-day data management. This fast-paced role is challenging yet rewarding and requires up-to-date proficiency with IT systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the payroll team to process 4-weekly payroll cycles
    • Assist in developing and implementing payroll processes for hourly and salaried employees
    • Verify key payroll activities for accuracy and compliance (e.g. new hires, promotions, and exits)
    • Prepare and input data into the payroll system
    • Generate payroll reports
    • Address payroll queries with excellent customer service
    • Provide guidance on Payroll processes and legislative requirements for business projects
    • Communicate effectively to resolve store inquiries regarding payslips
    • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to GDPR policies

    Qualifications:

    • Strong Excel skills and keen attention to detail
    • Ability to prioritise workload and work within strict deadlines
    • Team player with the ability to work independently
    • Flexibility to take on other office duties as needed
