The ***Technical Sales Engineer*** at Arrow ECS will play a key role in cultivating and sustaining impactful relationships with customers, suppliers, and Arrow partners to drive awareness and interest in Arrow products by proactively presenting engineering and supply chain solutions. This role involves:
Account Management:
The ***Technical Sales Engineer*** will establish and arrange regular visits to customer facilities, promoting Arrow's franchised lines and services, identifying sales opportunities through a structured discovery process, understanding customer needs, aligning them with Arrow's offerings, and executing solution sales leveraging Arrow's supply chain solutions and design processes. The focus will be on enhancing profits and maximizing margins by offering value-added, long-term solutions with an emphasis on generating demand and providing technical expertise.
Relationship Building:
The role involves fostering relationships with suppliers and customers at various levels, leveraging knowledge of distribution/representation/supplier channels to boost market share and sales.
This role will involve active participation in a sales compensation plan where a portion of On-Target Earnings (OTE) will be variable based on achieving specific sales targets established by Arrow.
Requirements for this role include previous experience in a similar technical/engineering role within hardware solutions sales or IT channel sales, a full driving license with a willingness to travel, fluency in English, a structured approach to time management, the ability to identify key decision-makers, and proficiency in promoting complex projects through solution sales concepts. Moreover, candidates should have exposure to alliance vendor relationships.
Additionally, the compensation package includes a base salary, bonus, life insurance, and a pension scheme.
