    Technical Sales EngineerAre you an enthusiastic and driven professional with a knack for sales and a technical mind? We are seeking a dedicated Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Colchester.

    About the RoleIn this role, you will be pivotal in supporting customers across a diverse range of industries, helping them find the best solutions from our market-leading range of dust, fume, and mist extraction products.

    You will engage closely with customers, both from our office and through occasional site visits and industry exhibitions.


    Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Knowledge:
    Become an expert in our extensive range of dust, fume, and mist extraction units

    Customer Interaction:
    Serve as the initial point of contact for customer inquiries

    Sales Development:
    Drive and close sales across all product ranges to achieve company targets

    Quotation Production:
    Generate quotes for new units, spare parts, and services

    Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with the sales team to ensure exceptional customer care

    Record Maintenance:
    Keep accurate customer records and manage our CRM system

    Technical Support:
    Provide technical advice to both existing and prospective customers.

    What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

    Strong sales and customer relationship skillsSelf-motivated and able to inspire othersTechnically minded with an understanding of manufacturing and engineering processesExcellent written and spoken EnglishProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelA valid driving licensePreferred ExperienceExperience in the manufacturing industry is essential.

    Specific experience in dust and fume extraction sales is a plus, but not mandatory as on-the-job training will be provided.


    Work EnvironmentLocation:
    Based in Colchester with occasional travel for customer visits and exhibitions

    Compensation and BenefitsSalary:
    £35,000 - £40,000 per year, based on experience

    Bonus Scheme:
    Opportunities for additional earnings through commission and performance bonuses

    Job Types:
    Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to permPay: £35, £40,000.00 per yearSchedule: Monday to Friday

    Supplemental Pay Types:
    Commission pay, Performance bonus
