This role is categorised as a
roam role.

Roaming roles are a mixture of home and hub working with, in some instances, a degree of being out and about delivering services to customers.

Your working day will be determined by what you need to do and where you need to go to maximise your productivity.

This means that you could start and finish your day in different places depending on what you need to do, so we'll support you working from a variety of locations.


The Role:

We're seeking a motivated and experienced individuals to join our work planning team as Work Planner / Scheduler.

The main purpose of this role is to provide a work planning and scheduling service across our Repairs and Maintenance division, to include Repairs, Voids, Compliance and Commercial, ensuring delivery of service excellence to our customers across all business streams and geographical locations.


The Person:


You'll schedule works in such a way as to make best use of resources (human, financial and material) to maximise productivity and performance across any of the business streams within the directorate.

We're looking for someone who is able to demonstrate flexibility in undertaking the duties and responsibilities attached to the role.


Working collaboratively with trade operatives, service managers and supervisors on a daily basis, along with any other teams such as the Touchpoint team, Housing and Voids, you'll ensure the smooth running of the service.

You'll also ensure that all enquiries are dealt with during, or immediately following, the first contact with the customer and within agreed performance standards, the Data Protection Act and the Group's confidentiality policy.


This post also involves a range of administrative and system maintenance duties to ensure that information is up to date, monitored and reported as required, including, but not limited to, housekeeping tasks, raising official purchase orders and other general administrative duties.


We're looking for someone with a good standard of education, who is able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills in a front-line role.

Knowledge of work planning/scheduling processes and requirements would be an advantage.

You'll also have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including influencing and negotiating skills and the ability to build relationships with managers and colleagues, as well as external stakeholders and customers.
