Description
We have a vacancy in our Family and Friends Fostering Support Teams for a Senior Social Work Assistant.

Listening to the child is at the heart of our approach. We support them on their own personal journey. We are looking for a Senior Social Work Assistant to support us with this work.

You should have knowledge and an understanding of adoption issues coupled with the knowledge and understanding of the permanency needs of children from complex backgrounds.

You will also need strong administration and computer skills as your time will be split between office based tasks and work in the community visiting families.

For all roles, you must have effective communication skills both written and verbal to include clear and concise report writing or record keeping.

Good organisational and presentation skills. The ability to work effectively with colleagues and other agencies; solve problems, negotiate and make decisions.
