£23,144 to £25,138 per annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £24,533 to £27,181 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024)

The Teaching Office in the School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures (LLC) is looking for three new
Learning & Teaching Administrators to join our team.

These are permanent, full-time roles.

The Teaching Office acts as the main source of administrative and operational teaching support in LLC.

We are currently undergoing a restructuring process that will ensure we are able to keep meeting the needs and expectations of both staff and students.

As part of this, we are looking for three new members of staff to join our office during this period of change.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy variety in their work and can remain calm under pressure, and who additionally may want to progress in a career providing administrative support in Higher Education (HE) institutions.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Vocational qualifications (N/SVQ 2/3, ONC or equivalent) plus relevant work experience OR school education to Standard Grade or equivalent plus relevant work experience.
  • Relevant administrative experience, preferably in an HE environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft software packages (Word, Excel, etc).
  • Strong communication skills. Organisation and time management skills to plan and organise activities and events.
