    Description
    We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team based in Sunderland.

    As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in various industrial and commercial settings.


    Responsibilities:

    • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layouts and dimensions.
    • Cutting, threading, and bending pipes using various tools and techniques.
    • Installing and connecting pipes and fittings according to design and safety standards.
    • Testing piping systems for leaks and ensuring proper functionality.
    • Repairing and replacing faulty or damaged pipes and fittings.
    • Collaborating with other tradespeople to complete projects.
    • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
    • Maintaining accurate records of work performed.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter or similar role.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
    • Sound knowledge of various types of pipes, fittings, and materials.
    • Ability to accurately measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes.
    • Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and precision.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Relevant certifications or qualifications in pipe fitting.
