  • As a Technical Expert / Integrator in this agile product team, you will be working closely with the IT manager, Product Owner and SGT developments teams in Spain on both maintenance and new requirements that support 13,000 _
- colleagues across Santander UK. Our aim is to provide everything our front-line colleagues need to offer exceptional services to enable our customers to prosper.
The difference you'll make

  • Reviewing functional requirements with the business analyst to define, along with the technical Architects, the correct solution
  • Coordinating development with a distributed team in UK, India and Spain
  • Engaging with platforms teams and coordination of implementation of the software
  • Coordinating and execution of technical testing, destructive or high availability test and performance test.

What you'll bring

  • Good communication skills as the role involves coordinated a distributed development team in India, UK and Spain, Spanish is a plus
  • Solid technical background within Santander including managing technical change
  • Experience with API development and pipelines
  • Knowledge of IBM API, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, Openshift and MicroServices Architecture
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira and Confluence tools Experience with continuous delivery practices

It would also be nice for you to have

  • Experience in building new proposals E2E based on high level requirements, planning and reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple releases in parallel
  • You're a problem solver — you can identify and unblock distractions to ensure the team stay focused on the things that deliver value
  • Ability to scope project requirements, considerations, and dependencies

This role is based in Milton Keynes and our current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week.

There is a shared-on call rota for out of hours incident support.

**Application process
1st Stage - Technical Interview - this will be a 30 min technical interview with one of the team.

2nd Stage - A one-hour formal interview where we will ask both technical and competency-based questions. This can be done virtually or face to face depending on your situation.
