- Understanding of financial accounts/analysis in a corporate client context and or credit risk experience in a business/corporate banking environment
- Track record of supporting clients' growth strategies through ESG, Energy Transition, or International expansion.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Relationship Director to join our Edinburgh team within Corporate and Commercial Banking, Scotland & Northern Ireland
As a Relationship Director, You'll be responsible for a portfolio of clients in line with the strategy for Corporate Clients, with a focus on client acquisition, maintenance, relationship development and retention together with management of all aspects of risk. You'll be expected to drive advocacy of Santander UK in the marketplace by developing strong working relationships with key business introducers, prospects, and clients.
You will demonstrate a client centric approach to deliver solutions for corporate clients and new to bank prospects to meet short- and long-term needs working collaboratively with other areas of the Bank.
You'll also have line management responsibility over a Relationship Manager.
