Food Service Steward – Zero Hours Contract
5 hours shifts Monday to Sunday

We take great pride in our reputation as one of the best healthcare providers in the UK.We are seeking a dedicated and professional Food Steward to join our esteemed private hospital's Food Services team on a Zero-Hours Contract.
As a Food Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients and staff receive exceptional food service and maintain a high level of satisfaction.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service while delivering meals and maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the food service areas.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of meal orders, paying attention to special dietary needs, allergies, and restrictionsMaintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food service areas, including food preparation, serving, and dining areas
Follow proper food handling and safety protocols, including temperature monitoring, storage, and labeling
Collect and process patient feedback on food quality, portion sizes, and overall satisfaction
Maintain inventory of food supplies, monitor expiration dates, and report any shortages or discrepancies
Assist in the preparation of catering orders for hospital events and meetings
Collaborate with the Food Services team to improve service quality and efficiency
5 hours shifts in the week
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy trays or food carts
