If you're an experienced Payroll Administrator, perhaps with a background supporting a number of smaller payrolls simultaneously, and you're looking for a new permanent job, either full or part-time, in the North Milton Keynes area, then please havea read below and think if this role could suit you


As well as having the experience already mentioned, you'll currently work, or have recently worked, for a small to medium sized business in a fairly broad-ranging payroll-based role, where you're also happy being responsible for a number of other payroll-relatedadministrational duties.

This small, but reputable and very well established local firm feels they might well be able to offer you the type of position you're looking for.


With offices in North Milton Keynes and on the border of South Northamptonshire, this business, with a 20-plus year history, wishes to appoint a seasoned Payroll Administrator that will provide applicable knowledge and support to their existing team.

As Payroll Administrator your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Administering a number of small payrolls and associated tasks on a weekly or monthly basis
  • Filing related returns
  • Billing
  • Record keeping, database input and maintenance
  • Managing and ordering office supplies
  • Adhoc administrational tasks and projects when required


With good demonstrable payroll and all-round MS Office skills, you'll be comfortable working in a busy environment and undertaking a broad range of day-to-day payroll and administrative duties, along with ad-hoc projects when required.

A confident enough communicator (both written and verbally), you'll also possess excellent organizational skills and 'hands-on' flexible approach.

This is an office based role. With Free parking available on site.


In return, is a starting salary of £24,000 - £26,000 per annum, though this is negotiable depending on the level of all-round experience that you bring.

You'll also receive 26 days annual holiday entitlement, plus statutory bank holidays and a pension scheme.35 hours working week as standard for those seeking full-time, though flexibility can be offered and applicants seeking flexible part-time hours of circa hours per week are also very welcome, with a pro-rata salary naturally applying.
