    IGV (Its Gone Viral) is looking for abrilliant Content Editor with experience as a journalist orreporter who thrives in a fastpaced newsroom environment. This is amidlevel role within the team and its essential you have an indepthknowledge of media law and a strong track record of delivering awide range of trending entertainment or lifestyle stories at anational or regional title while understanding what works for adigital audience.

    You should have firstratewriting subbing and editing skills and relish the test of workingunder pressure and to tight deadlines. Youre social media savvywith current SEO knowledge and youre familiar with newsroomanalytics and content management systems such as Wordpress. Youreflexible passionate and know what makes a greatstory

    What do werequire

    • A journalistic background withnewsroom experience Outstanding writing research and factcheckingskills
    • Previous experience in a similar roleTargetdriven and the ability to meet tightdeadlines
    • A high standard of writtenEnglish
    • A university degree in journalism mediaor broadcasting and/or NCTJqualified
    • Experience in social media with astrong knowledge of Facebook Instagram andX
    • Experience scheduling and posting content viaFacebook Instagram and X
    • Experience packagingarticles creating captions titles and thumbnails to generatetraffic
    • Experience working as part of a teamwith strong teamwork skills
    • Knowledge ofjournalism law and ethics
