    Personal Care Assistant - Bank - SOLOHLD

    Hourly rate:
    £13.We are looking for a caring individual to join our current support team as a bank worker, supporting a young lady with complex health needs who lives in her own home in Poynton. To provide health care support including personal care, medication administration, nutrition and moving and handling, always following instruction from senior team members. To be available to take part in the on-call rota when required. You will also provide social and emotional support within the home and support the client to access the community and attend local activities.

    Car drivers with a full clean driving license and willing to drive the client's wheelchair accessible vehicle (manual gears) are essential, and candidates must meet the requirements for motor insurance purposes.

    The position is based within the client's home but also within the wider local community. There will be occasions whereby it is necessary to travel to alternative locations.

    You will be required to work flexibly, and your working hours will include evenings, weekends, bank holidays and waking nights.

    You will need to be reasonably fit and not afraid of water (swimming pool) because the client, who is a wheelchair user, enjoys taking part in a number of indoor and outdoor physical activities.
