    Job summary

    Weare seeking a highly organised, motivated individual with a positive attitudeto work as a Meaningful Activities Coordinator. You will be experienced inplanning, resourcing and carrying out events and activities as the role willrequire you to do this for our patients, making a positive difference to their stayon the ward. The post is based on Clarendon Ward (male, physical health) butyou will be expected to cover Beechwood Ward (female) if there is a shortfallof staff.

    Wework with patients and their families from their admission to the ward throughto discharge. You will be working with an experienced therapy teamconsisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Technical Instructors. We are afriendly and caring team working closely with the ward MDT, having the patientat the centre of everything we do whilst also involving families and carers. Weare interested in hearing from you if you are a likeminded person having thesame passion and drive to make a difference to our patients, which in returnoffers the reward of great job satisfaction.

    Theworking hours for the post are Monday to Friday.

    Peersupervision and in service training are carried out on a regular basis and youwill have an annual appraisal.

    Free parking is available on site and a bus stop is close by.

  • Level 2 functional skills in maths and English or equivalent.
  • Level 3 functional skills in maths and English or willing to complete within six months.
  • Care Certificate or willing to complete within twelve months.
  • Willingness to undertake further training and development.
